(HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32\PlacesBar) but I don't know how to customise them from here as the values are just numbers.
I know the Tweak XP util from MS can change these but I don't want to have to keep changing the group membership settings for my account everytime I want to use it.
Thx in advance

Xteq X-Setup comes with a program that lets you change these but I can't remember if it did so as a non-Admin user...
Theres also another caveat: As you've noticed, by default the entries in the Reg key are blank. This sets up the default locations. Modifying even one of those will remove the other four which, depending on whether you use the other four or not, may be a problem.
I'm interested in changing these myself, which is how I came across the X-Setup plugin, but since I like having a few of the default locations on there (My Computer and My Network Places in particular), I passed it over. If anyone knows of a program that allows you to edit these while preserving the default ones I'd love to hear about it.
