change primary symantec server name ...
i have a primary symantec anrivirus server and some clients on differenet LANs that recieve their virus definitions from this primary server,i want to change the name of this server from Little to Big.
i have a primary symantec anrivirus server and some clients on differenet LANs that recieve their virus definitions from this primary server,i want to change the name of this server from " Little " to " Big" . but i worry about clients that couldn't recieve updates after this change. i examined this issue on 3 computers on a lab and the cilent update its server named and recieve updates but secondary server not .
have you done any thing similar what i want to do ? was the result ok ?
