Changing AGP from 1x to 4x

This is a discussion about Changing AGP from 1x to 4x in the Windows Hardware category; I have an ATI Radeon 9600 and was wondering where in the control panel do i go from to change the agp 1x to 4x? also to turn on fast write? thank you. .

You will need to get into your BIOS to make those changes. As your computer is rebooting you will see a message that says to hit a button (can be Del or F2 or F9) to get into the BIOS. Once in there you should find what you are looking for.
