Changing Windows XP Language
This is a discussion about Changing Windows XP Language in the Everything New Technology category; I've just bought a new computer in Spain (which obviously is now in Spanish). How can I change XP to run in English? I didn't get a disc copy of XP with the PC so do I have to buy a new English copy?.

Everything you need to change will be found at Control Panel > Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options.
hmm..well i chnaged every option to English(United Kingdom) and restarted but still XP is in Spanish.
I HAVE THE SAME THING I TRIED ALL POSSIBLE LANGUAGE SWAPS BUT NO GOOD IT LOOKS LIKE A NEW INSTALL MAYBE VISTA ENGLISH
The Regional options will change language but will not change the XP's fundamental menus, windows, start menu. You -have- to buy the English version of Windows XP if you want it all in English, Windows itself is not multi-lingual, it comes in specific language versions.
decieved yet again by the wonderful giant claiming to have evrything at your finger tips.
