Chaning the auto-run mp3 disks program

This is a discussion about Chaning the auto-run mp3 disks program in the Windows Hardware category; Ok you guys know how when you insert a mp3/audio CD that media player defualts to open it, I want to change this to winamp instead of WMP 8 anyone know what regkey does this?

ain't no reason for a reg key for that, you should be able to tell WinAmp to do that yourself by pointing everything to that location.

couldn't you just associate all mp3 and cdda files with Winamp?

its not the point of wheather or not winamp will recognize the files, it is that when the autoplay box comes out with what i want to do when i select the play media files i would rather have winamp instead of WMP 8 come up.
