CHK DSK Runs Continuously
This is a discussion about CHK DSK Runs Continuously in the Windows Software category; I have just finished setting up my new computer and turned it on. All was fine untill it froze. I restarted and all was fine again. I set it up to do a chk dsk on restart and. . . restarted. It ran the chkdsk and then reboted and ran the chkdsk and reboted etc.
I have just finished setting up my new computer and turned it on. All was fine untill it froze. I restarted and all was fine again. I set it up to do a chk dsk on restart and...restarted. It ran the chkdsk and then reboted and ran the chkdsk and reboted etc. I then got a message asking me what mode to enter in (ie. safe mode) and only safe mode works and even that is not great. When I select it it comes up with loads of information and then hangs for ages sometimes to then load into safe mode. Can anybody help?

Quote:CHKNTFS /D
Quote:CHKNTFS /D
