Civ Call To Power NT 4

This is a discussion about Civ Call To Power NT 4 in the Windows Games category; Does anyone know how, if you can, set Windows NT4 to manage the virtual memory? Activision, the maker of the game told me the reason I keep getting the error message saying that my system is running low on virtual memory, is because I need to let NT manage my virtual memory.

Does anyone know how, if you can, set Windows NT4 to manage the virtual memory? Activision, the maker of the game told me the reason I keep getting the error message saying that my system is running low on virtual memory, is because I need to let NT manage my virtual memory. I set the VM to 1.2GB and it still ran out of VM. This freezes the game and crashes my system. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or am I the only one who has had this problem?
