Clipboard Viewer Missing
This is a discussion about Clipboard Viewer Missing in the Windows Software category; My clipboard viewer has been been missing from the beginning. XP is loaded on the drive (hidden) and don't have a CD. Tried Microsoft but no luck in searching. I do have it enabled but still not showing.
My clipboard viewer has been been missing from the beginning. XP is loaded on the drive (hidden) and don't have a CD. Tried Microsoft but no luck in searching. I do have it enabled but still not showing. Any ideas or can someone send it to me? Would really appreciate any help.

It should be located in C:\winnt\system32\clipbrd.exe . You can use Windows Explorer to manuever to it or just ask it to find it. Then, right click on the file and drag it to the desktop and copy it there.
If your Windows Explorer is not set to find hidden files, double click on My Computer. Double click on C:\ then winnt folder. You may have to press the Show files tag at the left. Then, double click on the system32 folder (again clicking on the show files message) and then find clipbrd.exe. Right click, drag to desktop or quickstart bar and copy here.

Thanks for your help. Have also found that the name is changed to clipbook viewer. Probably why I couldn't locate the file.
