as far as i know i have the same problem what happens is when i try to install the game the screen goes blank briefly then returns to the desktop
If you are doing what i suspect you are doing, you should avoid allowing the installer to install the direct X, it is badly out of date, and secondly, you should avoid trying to install westwood chat. That doesnt exist anymore, I believe. Finally avoid installing Adobe acrobat 3, it is also badly out of date. This site will probably answer most of your questions:
