COmpat. Question about old SCSI Card.
I recently came across an old Adaptec ISA SCSI card (AHA 1522A) And windows 2000 doesn't seem to have the drivers for it. On the adaptec website they show that for NT 4. 0 users that the Drivers are in the OS.

SHould i assume that windows 2000 has the drivers built in it like NT 4.0 or should i throw away the dream of getting this old SCSI card to work ?

As Andy has mention Windows 2000 does have drivers for the AHA-152x series of cards, they use the SPARROW.SYS driver, however you may have problems with resources.
In Windows NT v4, you had to turn off PnP Mode to get the card to work, so you may have to do the same for Windows 2000.

What are you planning on attaching to this SCSI card?
If it's CD-ROM's & CD-RW's etc then go for it, Win2k might not automatically see it during setup, but allow it to search for new devices after and it should be fine.
If you're planning on using SCSI HD's, well an ISA SCSI card coupled with the older style SCSI HD will give you worse performance than IDE.
