Hi, I have an Athlon 1. 7 cpu and 256mb sdram 40 gig HDD and my motherboard is a pc chips sis730. I need to know what is a compatible motherboard for the Nvidia GEFORCE FX5200 128MB 64BIT graphic card and all the above.

I need to know what is a compatible motherboard for the Nvidia GEFORCE FX5200 128MB 64BIT graphic card and all the above. I am on a very tight budget and can only spend £30 tops. I am upgrading the motherboard because i cant get games to play on it because it is all choppy and crashes.

Pretty much anything will work. And I would recommend adding another 256Mb of RAM there too, otherwise, your new video card won't make a big difference. Also, try to locate something other than a GeForce FX card, they are not terribly effective. If you can, find a Radeon 9600 Pro/XT series, or, if you want to go GeForce, try to find a 6600 GT.
Another thing, I noticed you say "256mb sdram". If you're talking PC100/133 SDRAM, and not making a mistaken reference to DDR SDRAM, then you're going to be spending way more than 30. A new motherboard is going to require DDR RAM.
