Hey,
I have been having some problems as of late with some games namely Americas Army and Alice, but now Warcraft 3 is acting up. I can play for awile maybe up to a half and hour but then all of a sudden the monitor just clicks off (the light goes orange like its alseep) the sound can still be heard but it is frozen and repeating whatever it has buffered. The only way out of this is to reset the computer. I have a 2.4ghz p4 with a Radeon 8500 128meg, 512megs of ram, running win2k pro. I have directx 8.1b and the catalyst 2.2 drivers. Any help would be appreceated as i have run out of options.
Thanks

I've seen this before with a power supply that is not large enough, and with a system that is not sufficiently cooled. You might want to check these two factors...
The system is water cooled and gets nice low temps, the ambient case temp is low as well(with my two 90mm blowholes and a 120 I would hope its low). My other computer is also running a radeon 8500 and it has higher temps across the board with no problems. I think I might go get a temp probe from radio shack or something and see what the video card is truly at, and no Im not overclocking 2.4 is enough for now and the radeon 8500 can hold its own. I guess if it is a problem with heat on the video card I could get a gpu water block or a crystal orb.
oops almost forgot the power supply is 500watts and the voltages are quite stable so I doubt it the PS.
