Connectix quickcam usb and w2k

I have the Quickcam VC USB, but it DOES NOT WORK IN WINDOWS2000, Logitech's site says that there are no plans to release drivers for this camera at all, but on NTCompatible, someone did mention that they were able to get the PARALLEL version of the VC camera to work with win2K and some NT drivers, but since this is the USB version, I won't mess around with NT drivers and win2k....this sucks
