We had a lightning strike on the phoneline last night and my POS 3com/USR PCI winmodem is damaged. It won't hang up after disconnecting. I'm probably going to get a Zoom modem to replace it. I've narrowed it down to two modems: model 2920- hardware v.

I'm probably going to get a Zoom modem to replace it. I've narrowed it down to two modems:
model 2920- hardware v.90
model 3025- controllerless v.92
Both are in the same price range. Which is the better choice?
