I use soundforge to record. Running a line from line-out 2 on my quad soundcard to mic or line-in. End result is a editable .wav which I then convert to mp3 using musicmatch. Converting on the fly is a waste in most cases because most recording requires some editing and mp3 editors leave alot to be desired.

thanks for the reply. I just was trying to avoid having a 100G hard drive to capture 4 hours of audio;)

I was wondering if there is some way I can convert WMA music files to Mp3 or something else suitable so that I can put these files onto a phone that plays Mp3? (Via bluetooth)

It would be great if someone could help me with this, but please reply to satanicalhippy@hotmail.com as I can never seem to find my way back to these threads!

Thanks,
