Counterstrike problems
This is a discussion about Counterstrike problems in the Windows Games category; On my system if I play counterstrike in OpenGL mode it makes the screen a small 800x600 quarter of the screen box in the upper left hand corner of my 1600x1200 desktop. . . (its not in a windowed mode, its just 1/4 of the game showing in the corner of the screen).

If I run the game in direct 3d mode and switch back to a menu from the game, it crashes by making the screen blank when in menus.
How do I fix this? Any clue... I am veague, but I am sure someone had this problem.
Also, what is the console command to turn off the max fps and to set the hunk megs memory size the game usese?

i've had the same problem, try exiting Cs a few times and retrying it, hit ESC a few times....i really don't know how to Officially fix it, just a little "half-a.ss" fix that i just told you.

We appear to have solved the problem. You have to exit out of aim and it works.
