Custom Resolution/Refresh Rates?

Use Powerstrip. It works for me with MatroxG400DH Max and s3 savage4. Version 3.0 was just released a couple days ago.

It gets the resolution going, but I seem to be getting some side effects...
 
1400x1050@32 bit, Matrox G400max, Sony CPD-G400
 
Whenever any type of movement happens on the screen, a horizontal "glitch" occurs in the display. I know this monitor/card combo can support the resolution. Oh well.
