customizing folders
This is a discussion about customizing folders in the Customization Tweaking category; hey. . my drive D:\ root directory is customized for picture tasks but there are no pictures in it. i want to remove the customization but i don't know how. the usual customization option that is available in any other folder isn't available in this directory.

try going to a command prompt, change to d:\, and type these commands:

D:\>del desktop.ini

D:\>attrib -s -h desktop.ini
D:\>del desktop.ini

no such file exists....!!
Go to http://www.cronosoft.com/download/index.htm and they have a freeware program called XP Visual Tools. It has an option about customized files. Just disable it through that program.

thanks but resetting thr folder in folder options -> view -> reset all folders, did the trick.
