Decrypting data
This is a discussion about Decrypting data in the Windows Software category; i had windows-xp in my com and i had to put a fresh coppy of windows-xp in to my com. i have my windows-xp in my C-drive and all of my documents in my D-drive. it seems i didnt decrypt any of my flies in my D-drive before i put the fresh coppy of the windos-xp.

What do you mean by decrypt?
You just couldn't access these files?
If so, you could try some recover software used for corrupt data.

Did you backup your profile (C:\Documents or settings) or the Personal Certificate before formatting?
Without the certificate privatkeys its impossible to read the files again...
