Defrag probs in Win2k using KT7-Raid?
This is a discussion about Defrag probs in Win2k using KT7-Raid? in the Windows Software category; Greets all, I've got 2x30gb IBM's set-up on a Raid 0 with a 16k block, then formatted into 2x 30gb partitions (1xWinMe (Fat32) 1xWin2k (NTFS)), they were formatted using the format z:32 option for optimal performance.
Greets all,
I've got 2x30gb IBM's set-up on a Raid 0 with a 16k block, then formatted
into 2x 30gb partitions (1xWinMe (Fat32) 1xWin2k (NTFS)), they were
formatted using the format z:32 option for optimal performance. Both OS's
run *extremely* well BUT I'm unable to defrag in Win2k using either the
built in defrager or using O&O Defrag. The programs are saying unable to
defrag over 4k which is a bit of a pisser, does anyone know a way around
this without causing me any re-installs or another Win2k defragger that will
format 32k blocks?
