Delay and Irresponsive during Network Connection Enabled
This is a discussion about Delay and Irresponsive during Network Connection Enabled in the Windows Networking category; Hi Guys, I have 2 networked computer using hub. Server has 2 NIC one connected to hub and the other to cable modem. Workstation has 1 NIC connected to hub. Both have Windows XP Pro SP1. ICS is enabled.
Hi Guys,
I have 2 networked computer using hub.
Server has 2 NIC one connected to hub and the other to cable modem.
Workstation has 1 NIC connected to hub.
Both have Windows XP Pro SP1. ICS is enabled.
The problem is that when network connections are enabled and I want to open some sort of file or go to My Computer, there is a delay and the computer becomes irresponsive for like 10seconds or so. This doesn't happen if I disable the network connection. This behaviour is same on both computers.
One computer is 1.4Ghz and the other is 450Mhz.
Any ideas why this happens.
Thanks.

No,
I already did that deleting the registry thing, but it didn't work out.
Any other suggestions
