Delayed Write failure on XP pro talking to 2000 Server
We are running a 2003 SBS network. We had a standalone 2000 server box in its own work group running a reservations system. I joined this machine to the domain this week. All seemed to be working well for about a day.

All seemed to be working well for about a day. But now when it tries to drop a pdf file to a share on the server it comes up with the Delayed write failure message. It does not happen from an XP home machine or windows 2000 machines.
I think I have completely disabled SMB as per MS website but it keeps coming up. Is there something that SBS 2003 might do to the Windows 2000 server to cause this communication break down?
There has been no documentation left for the group policy or domain settings for the domain, is it possible I am over looking one?
Cheers and Beers
