Dell Dimension 2400 Motherboard
This is a discussion about Dell Dimension 2400 Motherboard in the Windows Hardware category; Hey guys, I just got a dell dimension 2400 mobo of a buddy of mine, and i'm having trouble with the power switch. If anyone out there has one of these, can you specify where each of my power button cables go? I've pretty well tried it all, so I'm throwing in the towel.
Hey guys, I just got a dell dimension 2400 mobo of a buddy of mine, and i'm having trouble with the power switch. If anyone out there has one of these, can you specify where each of my power button cables go? I've pretty well tried it all, so I'm throwing in the towel... I have managed to get the thing to boot, but in order to do so i have to restart the cmos then power off using the switch on the back of my power supply, then i get one boot to bios. If i turn it off then back on again, i get the same black screen and no boot. Alright, thats all for me.

yep, i've checked that out... i'm looking for which wires go where... i've tried pretty well every configuration i can and all i've managed to get is a reboot.
