Dell Monitor Question (HELP!!!!!)
This is a discussion about Dell Monitor Question (HELP!!!!!) in the Windows Hardware category; I recently aquired a 17 Dell Monitor from a friend for free. The only problem is that it has a 9-pin female connector on the back and most or all video cards are 15-pin. I recently aquired a 17" Dell Monitor from a friend for free. The only problem is that
it has a 9-pin female connector on the back and most or all video cards are 15-pin. My
question is, Can i just buy a 9 to 15 pin adapter or do i have to find a 9 pin vid
card (i've never seen one myself)? Can someone help to provide a pin-out so i can make
my own adapter? All of the text and warnings on the back are in German, which leads me
to believe its a German monitor, will it work here in the US? The monitor's model
number is: Dell D1728-LS . Thanks in Advance.
