Delta Force 2 multiplayer XP problem
This is a discussion about Delta Force 2 multiplayer XP problem in the Windows Games category; Anyone else had this problem? Delta Force 2 multiplayer: every computer joins current game fine except for systems running XP, which sometimes join but normally don't get anywhere for more than 5 minutes.

Problem was easy to dodge the first time: host it on the XP system. Well, now there are 2 XP systems. I tried removing QoS packet, enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP, there's no firewall, and I deleted that key as well (the D6377... one). System does other multiplayer games (using IPX or TCP/IP) fine, including Delta Force 1. Oh, and this is using the latest game version and DX 8.1 with host computers using 2000 or XP with or without QFixApp.

Has anyone not had this problem with an XP system trying to join a DF2 game?

i just installed df 2 back in on my XP comp, i play muliplayer fine, using nova world.
i got another XP box at work, i will set it up on their and try to run a server, see if i have problems, and will let yeah know

Ran it, put a server up, ran fine no problems,
3 x XP and 1 98 box.
did this for all df / df2 / dflw
