Denial of Service attacks
This is a discussion about Denial of Service attacks in the Windows Networking category; How can I find out if I am getting hit by DoS attacks? I have all the patches for our IIS5/Win2k server. But about every couple of weeks, we will have the number of users rise sharply to over 1500, then our server dies.

Is there any way to check this, or look into it? I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Well, before that patch check beauty, i would have a server die on me about once a week as well (The ones outside the firewall). And we really did look after them however. since the release of that tool. I have not had a single one offline
