Descent3 + BSOD
This is a discussion about Descent3 + BSOD in the Windows Games category; Okay, Ive got a clean install of Win2k and a new Hercules Prophet II MX with the 6. 53 drivers off Hercules site. When ever I exit a level I get the blue scree with a stop message with something about nv4.
Okay, Ive got a clean install of Win2k and a new Hercules Prophet II MX with the 6.53 drivers off Hercules site. When ever I exit a level I get the blue scree with a stop message with something about nv4.dll file. Im patched up to the lastest version of D3, but that didnt fix it. Ive installed the AMD compatability patch too. My specs below:

Oh come on! What Detonator Drivers should I use? And where besides nVidia can I get them.

Well, I got the Detonator 7.52 Drivers and fixed the problem. And better 3dmark scores to boot.
