Arcanum, was IMO a very fun RPG.

We seem to be going from RPG->Adventure->ClickFest light-RPG.

Look for Gothic 2 ENGLISH sometime in late feb'2003
you can try out Gothic 1 still kicking. Rest 2001-2002 rpgs cant even be labled as rpgs

Dunno if I'd count Diablo II as a RPG but it's a great game.
I would say diablo 2 is an RPG and to be honest it is one of teh greatest games ive played. another great game would be might and magic 8 (it is by far better than number 9 aswell even though it is an earlier one)
If you fancy a fun, easy to pick game then you can try Command & Conquer Renegade. Personally I cant stand the actual single player game however the online multiplayer is great.
The best thing is that though the game is old, there is a fanstastic user community that develop patches and utilities (e.g. Renguard anticheat). Also the game servers are pretty well suported with all sorts of ladders, contests etc. The Clan following is pretty large too.
Anyhow ill shut up now.. this game has stood the test of time for sure
