Determining whistler versions

yes check one of the dll's on the CD in the i386 dir. The last 4 numbers of it are the build #. So if its yourgay.dll and the last numbers are 2296 then the build is 2296

Well it sounds like you have a warxs vers and from the respones you got here he might have the same thing(I could be wrong)...Just look in hivesys.inf.. any one will do..
