Dial in to a NT4 Server using a Sony P800 mobile phone
Can anyone advise me of the settings needed on NT4 to enable me to retrieve mail (outlook) using my mobile phone. My laptop works remotely but not my mobile phone. Any help appreciated. .

You would need to configure your phone for the same authentication protocols that NT4 RAS allows....
IIRC correctly
NT4 supports PAP, Shiva, MSCHAP.
Need more info needed for further help.

Thanks for that,
I have a separate modem attached to com1 for incoming only, i am pretty sure its to do with DHCP - i could be wrong. I do not see why my phone cannot retrieve mail if my laptop can. The only thing thats different is that my laptop now has a static IP address.

Is your NT server configured to pass dhcp leases to those who dial in through RAS .... you can check the DHCP server if a lease has been handed to your IP ...
sorry its literally been years since i worked with nt ras and some details are escaping me ....
