Diamond Viper II Causes Crashes
This is a discussion about Diamond Viper II Causes Crashes in the Windows Hardware category; Profile of my system: windows 2000 advanced server running full array of MS Software(only MS) Soyo Motherboard Via chipset(k7via) on board audio Direct X 8. 0 AGP with Diamond viper II Z200 I have tried the memory swapping, closing services etc.

I have tried the memory swapping, closing services etc.
I do not run norton or other problem causing stuff
Everything is MS.
I was running fine with a Riva Tnt2 16MB AGP
Tried to upgrade to Diamond Viper II, and when boot windows it detects it and asks for driver. I install the latest W2k driver from Diamond, and just as it completes, the system crashes and restarts(because i have it do that on memory error). I Checked the stop message too, and it is 0x000000BE -> its trying to write to read only memory, and it says the s3sav2km.sys driver is at fault? Help? Thanks...please email.
