Digital CD audio

This is a discussion about Digital CD audio in the Legacy OS category; I can't seem to get digital CD audio working with my Pioneer DVD drive under Win98, it worked fine under Win2k and I thought it was a very cool feature but now I'm with Win98 I can't enable it (box is greyed out).
