"Direct Draw Expired" error - How to resolve

This is a discussion about "Direct Draw Expired" error - How to resolve in the Windows Software category; Have just started getting the direct draw expired message error. Is this something to do with my Voodoo2 drivers, using DirectX? If so, how to correct. Help appreciated, Scott.

Have just started getting the direct draw expired message error. Is this something to do with my Voodoo2 drivers, using DirectX?
 
If so, how to correct.

If thats what is casing the problem, how do uninstall it.

Look for dxu*.exe in \winnt

Install newev version of DX8 and the problem will go away
