Direct X

This is a discussion about Direct X in the Windows Software category; I have problems when downloading the latest version of direct X. it runs thriugh the setup and says this may take a few moments, but it takes at least a second, then i try a game which requires direct X and its still not found.

What you have to do is go on to www.microsoft.com/donwloads and there should be a DirectX download and download it, then save it and it should work

Be sure to download the REDISTRIBUTABLE version, this is the one that comes with alot of games, it has the complete DX9.0c build and I think the latest was released in August
