I cant find it on site - Is it good to be installed on my Windows XP RC2? - Do I still have to install Video Capture Update for DirectX 8.

- Where can I get it? I cant find it on site www.microsoft.com/directx...
- Is it good to be installed on my Windows XP RC2?
- Do I still have to install "Video Capture Update for DirectX 8.0" over it (I am owner of Hauppauge WinTV Video capture device)?

It's not offcially out, so DX8.0a is still the latest version you can download from the MS site.
There are some websites that carry the 8.1 beta, but use it at your own risk. Some people have reported compatibility problems with a few games.
