DirectX 8.1 or 9.0?

This is a discussion about DirectX 8.1 or 9.0? in the Everything New Technology category; Just upgraded. . . from Windows XP Pro SP1 with DX 9 to Windows 2000 SP3 with DX 8. 1. Not realling liking XP as much as 2K, after running XP for almost 2 years now I decided to ditch the bloated b*tch.

Just upgraded... from Windows XP Pro SP1 with DX 9 to Windows 2000 SP3 with DX 8.1. Not realling liking XP as much as 2K, after running XP for almost 2 years now I decided to ditch the bloated b*tch. My question is should I up my install to DirectX 9?

Bootup Memory Error I Think!

Mouse sens. issues in all XP's OS's does any1 know a fix?
