Disable Autoplay in Build 2462?
This is a discussion about Disable Autoplay in Build 2462? in the Windows Hardware category; Ive looked in the registry, and I cant find the blasted thing. Is there an entry I can change? Does TweakUI work here? I hate Autoplay!!!Grrr.

You wouldn't by any chance know how to disable it in Windows 2000 would you?
Jee thanks guys. Very helpful here...
Under win2k OR winXP do the following.
1) Start, Run, type in mmc
2) Console, Add Snap-In,
3) Select Group Policies, ADD, Finish
4) Go to Local Computer Policy -> Administrative templates -> System
5) Double click on Disable Autoplay and click "Enable"
6) Exit out ( You can save the console for later use)
