Right before booting up Win2k, I saw a message "Disk I/O Error Stats = 00000001" on the screen, but Win2k works fine tho. I tired reformat, reinstall and deleted C partition and recreate C.

Anyone has any idea? It just bothers me when I see werid message even the PC works fine.

OP
Found out something new.

My HD was connected to IDE 1 controllor with a ATA 66 cable, but then when I changed to IDE 2 and use the same cable Disk I/O Error Stats = 00000001 was gone.

Also, I notice that when I was installing Win2k another message came up right after the CDROM done reading the setup drives. Disk I/O Error Stats = 00008001

Any idea?
