DK 2 sound problems on xp

This is a discussion about DK 2 sound problems on xp in the Windows Games category; my dk2 game seems to run fine on xp except for really chopy sound!!! plz tell me how 2 find the problem and correct it! amd athlon xp2600+ 1. 91 ghz 1. 00gb ram xp home V. 2002 s pack 2.
