DNS Server in XP?

This is a discussion about DNS Server in XP? in the Windows Networking category; Hi! I can't find any working DNS server for XP Pro. I've tried Simple DNS Plus (service craches on first dns lookup) and the NT-port of BIND (program ended unexcpectedly), but no luck. Can I somehow use the dns server from Win 2000? How do I rip it? - Tom.

OP
Right now I acctually use a second computer with Win 2000 Server as DNS, but I wan't to use that one for other reasons. Every DNS has a backup DNS server, so I could depend on that one doing the job, but it's not such a good idea in the long run.

email me @ xpdns@yahoo.com and I will send you a dns server that works for XP and uses the components of 2k that I compiled myself. ..

TreeWalk DNS Server works. It's just BIND with a WIN32 installer and a GUI frontend but it's easier to setup.
