I use PC Anywhere and dameware on all my machines all running xp and i have no problems. perhaps u wanna be a little more specific. i use version 10 of PCA and xp pro 2600 what versions are u using? how is xp killed? wtf? your post is retarded like me after a blunt

PCA 10 works fine under XP, RC1,RC2, and Final

If you are trying to run version 9 you must install the 9.2x upgrade BEFORE rebooting. This problem exists in Windows 2000, as well. One thing this will do is disable the Welcome Screen in XP. Otherwise, PCanywhere 9.2x works just fine in XP.

try NetOp or remote control a HECK!! of alot more secure then pcanywhere, and less 'junky' , as in they don't have the million and 1 extra options you don't need installed with it opening more ports.
