Well I know what you're thinking and no, like Intel, AMD will only support SMP on their Opteron platforms, period!!!
You will however be surprised by how affordable some of the dual-Opteron motherboards and cpu's actually are. You will have to spend some initial funds on this and of course ECC-REG memory as well
