The chipset does, but the board may not, you had better check with the board makers site.

from what I have read, it doesn't support it.

Yes, it does support it and it's well worth it. I'll get back to you with some links on how to set the clock multiplier by closing processor bridges because right now I'm at work. Also if you're running an Asus A7V you will need AT LEAST bios 1008 or higher.

How so? Unless he has already has a KT133 motherboard that he doesn't want to replace or can't replace theres little point in persisting with that POS.
