Does Windows 2000 come with a default aspi driver?
This is a discussion about Does Windows 2000 come with a default aspi driver? in the Windows Software category; While trying to set up Media Jukebox 6 to use with my CDRW it says it is unable to find any aspi drivers and can not detect my burner. You have to install an ASPI-layer, it´s not included in NT/2k.

Under Windows 2000 Professional I have noticed that even when I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 and Ahead Nero 5.x installed that aspi files are not installed where they are accessible to programs like CDRWin 3.x and cause errors.
I had to use the forceaspi utility to install the aspi files that CDRWin could use.
