This is a discussion about does windows xp with SP2 still have optical mouse issues............... in the Customization Tweaking category; I have a optical mouse microsoft and i even tried a logitech mouse same issue, issue is i never used windows xp cause it had a wierd sens mouse issue really noticiable in games, does service pack 2 fix that issue.

it's either
1) your motherboard
2) the surface on which your mouse moves
3) a cheap mouse
