Doom 3 on a new Dell

This is a discussion about Doom 3 on a new Dell in the Windows Games category; I've got the XP Media version and everytime I try the install, I freeze at disk 2. There's got to be a fix, what is it!?!?.

Copy all CD's to the hard drive and install from there?
