I'm trying to get X-Com Apocalypse to work on the 'ole Windows 2000 SP 1 + all the fixin' computer. When running xcomapoc.exe I get a message telling me the game can't find the SVGA card. Okay, so I try FastVid to see if I get anywhere. Ahhh.... Now I get the first screen with the menu (new game...load game....quit, or something to that effect), but the mouse is stuck in a little square in the upper-left hand corner of the screen. I assume this has something to do with the video - maybe a mode being used incorrectly?
Anyway, I'm running windows 2000 pro with a slightly altered autoexec.nt (lh ..\fastvid.exe xx1 4 d8000000)
Any help/ideas?
