Drive Mapping

This is a discussion about Drive Mapping in the Windows Networking category; I have a new XP Pro machine on an NT 4. 0 SP6a network that is part of a WAN with the other networks set up identically. On the XP PC I logon with my normal user ID and can connect to our domain server fine.

I have a new XP Pro machine on an NT 4.0 SP6a network that is part of a WAN with the other networks set up identically. On the XP PC I logon with my normal user ID and can connect to our domain server fine. I can see the other servers fine but I cannot map a drive to the other servers on the WAN like I could in Win98SE. Nothing has changed but adding this XP PC. We also have a disk array unit for storage on the network that I can't get to either (it's in the same domain as me). The only way I can map to the other servers and the disk array is to sign on as administrator. How do I correct this? My Norton book on XP doesn't discuss this. Thanks, Diane
