drivers?
This is a discussion about drivers? in the Windows Hardware category; i recently installed win2k. I have an Ensoniq Soundscape Vivo. I cant get the driver workingb. . . . . . . . it said on the ntcompatible hardware list that it was hard to get working. Also there is something called multimedia video controller in my device magager.
i recently installed win2k. I have an Ensoniq Soundscape Vivo. I cant get the driver workingb........it said on the ntcompatible hardware list that it was hard to get working. Also there is something called "multimedia video controller" in my device magager. It also cant find a driver. i have no idea what it is. Everything worked fine on ME, but i really like win2k better. Can anyone help? Would SP1 help? thx

I bet that "multimedia video controller" in the device magager is the very card that you are trying to install
try right clicking on it and go to properties then go to the driver tab and click update driver
then the add new hardware wiz comes up then click next
then check the radio button that says "display a list of drivers so that i can choose"
then click have disk and then browse to where you have the drivers

Also it would be a good idea to put sp1 on your machine as it has alot of bug fixes and whatnot.

ok sound works now....i forgot about going to update driver. I put driver on Ensoniq though. I still have no idea what Multimedia Video driver is... bah ill mess with it later
