Dual Boot XP Pro and Server 2003

Hello All. I have run a search on the forums for an answer to this question, but didn't find anything. If I missed it, sorry. I have a machine that I am trying to have dual boot between XP Pro and Server 2003 Enterprise.

Hello All. I have run a search on the forums for an answer to this question, but didn't find anything. If I missed it, sorry.

I have a machine that I am trying to have dual boot between XP Pro and Server 2003 Enterprise. I made a boo-boo and installed Server 2003 before I installed XP Pro (blush ... silent sobs). They are installed on separate partitions of the same drive.

I get both options on boot. Booting into XP Pro is fine, but any attempt to boot into Server 2003 Enterprise only results in the system restarting.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your time!

Have you tried to run repair installation for server 2k3?
Do you see blue flash when the computer restarts?
Can you load it in safe mode?

Hmmm, you'll probably need to replace NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM in C:\ from the 2003 CD.

Be sure to make backups of the old files before you do.
